About Us

On a Mission…To Improve the lives of children in local communities through networking and philanthropy.

Networking To Help Children (NTHC) was founded in 2009 by Board President, David Chirico. His passion for helping children in need and gift of connecting people through networking inspired acts of generosity and giving to flourish at the Monthly Networking Events he organized in his local Palm Beach County community. In 2016, NTHC achieved Nonprofit 501c(3) status. To date, the organization has raised and donated almost $1 Million dollars to local Nonprofit Charities that serve children in Palm Beach County, Florida. The Vision of NTHC? To increase the impact donors have on children’s lives in the local community as we begin to extend the NTHC brand of generosity and giving throughout the State, the Nation and someday, around the globe.

Who and How We Serve…

NTHC currently awards funds to Nonprofits in the Palm Beach County area who provide needed services to children. Our Board of Directors and Executive Leader review Grant applications for each of our two grant cycles. Ten Nonprofits are awarded $1000 each during each cycle. At the end of 2024, NTHC will begin to award the annual ‘Amplify the Impact’ Grant…a $5000 Grant to the Nonprofit who reports the most detailed data reflecting the deepest impact to children.

As a newly awarded ‘Giving Tuesday Community Leader for Southeastern Florida,’ in 2024, we
plan to raise additional funds to amplify our impact as we begin to connect with other Nonprofits serving children in the region. In 2025 and beyond, NTHC hopes to make an impact with Statewide, National and International outreach.

How We Raise Funds…

From March through November NTHC doubles its impact by hosting two Networking Events per
month. Ticket sales and Sponsor donations are awarded to two Board reviewed Nonprofit Charities of the Month. Local restaurants provide venues that appeal to our new Young
Professionals Group and will continue to offer our Executive and Retired Professionals Group
a warm and welcome atmosphere to gather, connect and support children in need.

Through generous donations from Corporate Leader Giving, Individuals, Business Sponsors and Grants from Foundations, after thorough Board review, NTHC offers two grant cycle awards per year, an End of Year Grant Impact Award and hire experienced Nonprofit professionals to help implement our Mission, as they oversee and lead daily operations. We love our team’s dedication and spirit of community to help support and build a resilient future for the children who need us most.
